Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical fitting is the assembly, installation and maintenance of complex machinery in, for example, power stations or pumps that drive oil into a refinery.  It is a physically demanding career, and it also requires a high level of skill.

   
What will be covered in the training at NETA?

You will receive comprehensive off the job training across a range of trade disciplines. Training will be practical using industrial equipment, tools and machinery found in the workplace. You will learn how to read drawings, measure and mark out, how to use hand tools and about drilling. You will also be taught how to fault find and how to dismantle and reassemble Mechanical and Fluid Power systems.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
